Luke Stone

Lead Pastor, Grace River Fellowship

Pastor Luke Stone has served in ministry for over 25 years, beginning as a youth and worship leader at the age of 18. For nine years, he pastored a church in Jacksonville, Florida, before the Lord led him and his family to Washington, Indiana.

In 2021, Luke’s life took a dramatic turn when he contracted the Delta variant of COVID-19. He spent 5½ weeks in a coma and 150 days in the hospital, relearning how to walk, talk, eat, and breathe. During that time, Luke experienced the peace of Christ and the hope of heaven in a profound way. This testimony of God’s grace fuels everything he does in ministry today.

Luke is passionate about:

  • Preaching the truth of God’s Word with clarity and compassion
  • Helping people encounter the transforming power of the gospel
  • Building a church that unites around the essentials of the faith rather than divides over denominational lines
  • Equipping the next generation to live on mission

In addition to his pastoral role, Luke is a professional musician, writer, and creative. He uses these gifts to share the gospel through music, storytelling, and media. He also serves with The PowerHouse, a local youth ministry dedicated to reaching teens with the hope of Christ.

Luke and his wife Beth have been married since 2000 and have 2 children. Together, they love serving the community, supporting families, and pointing people to Jesus.

“My life is a testimony of God’s grace and second chances. At Grace River Fellowship, we want everyone to know that same hope and power in Christ.” – Pastor Luke
